Furthermore, they are easy to locate. When coal is used in power plants, they are cost effective. Coal is also in abundant supply. Power plants that utilize gas are very efficient and power stations that make use of fossil fuel can be constructed almost anywhere. (Origin, 2015) Fossil fuels are a non-renewable energy resource. More land must be set aside to make biofuels. Natural habitats may be lost as a result, also. (Mathias Aarre Maehlum, 2013) Wind Wind is affordable as it is free and wind farms need no fuel. It produces no waste or greenhouse gases; the land beneath can still be used for farming. GoldPower, 2017) Additionally, wind power is renewable. Wind will keep on blowing, making sense to use them. The wind is not always predictable, some days have less wind than others. Suitable areas for wind farms are often near the coast where land is expensive. It can kill birds as migrating flocks tend to like strong winds. It can also effect television reception if you live nearby and it can be noisy. (Mr. Tommy Huang, 2017) Wave Wave power is a renewable energy source. It is clean fuel and environmentally friendly as there is so much of it. Unlike wind, they are predictable and you can always produce a significant amount of energy. It does not require lots of fuel and they are free. This method requires further research; if it becomes increasingly popular, the housing industry will lose money for beach front houses as they will be using the beaches for the tidal/wind farms. FSA Argumentative Essay - Should You Use This Essay As Your Style?

FSA Argumentative Essay - Should You Use This Essay As Your Style?

The FSA pugnacious paper is an uncommon decision for the ace's understudy. This is on the grounds that while you will locate some great contentions in a pugnacious article, it is almost difficult to track down one that won't make the understudy resemble a blockhead or cause the understudy to show up mentally languid. Hence, an ace's understudy that decides to do a FSA contentious paper would be in an ideal situation going with a substance based argument.

If the FSA factious exposition needs to make the understudy look senseless, the substance based article needs to make the understudy look more intelligent. This implies you can utilize the realities to show how your rival's contention has no legitimacy and subsequently can be dismissed. In the event that you make the opposite side look absurd and idiotic, they won't have any an incentive to offer and he nce they won't have the option to give any proof to back up their claim.

Another preferred position of utilizing realities to back up your case is that it allows you to have the opposite side to consent to your realities but concur with your case. This is known as the 'uniqueness paradox.' If somebody can demonstrate that something doesn't exist, they can't do this without concurring with that statement.

Since the ace's understudy is probably not going to arrive at a resolution, they are compelled to take one side, yet it is that side that doesn't concur with the realities. They should accordingly go through that announcement to back their case and utilize that announcement to contend that their side has more truth and that in this manner, their side has the more substantial case. The article will look more like a lawful understanding than it does a legitimate argument.

The FSA factious exposition isn't a worthy paper style for an ace's understudy. It necessitates that you offer expressions that you can't demonstrate, in this way you have to utilize the 'undue weight' argument.

The over the top weight is a contention that says that your side ought not be acknowledged on the grounds that you were unable to demonstrate that it is sensible. Such a contention could be utilized to state that advancement is definitely not a real science since researchers couldn't demonstrate that it is sensible. Consequently, it is nonsensical to have confidence in evolution.

A content based contention is the best approach when composing a pugnacious paper. This style is frequently favored by understudies, yet most educators lean toward the FSA factious exposition also. The way that it is a lot simpler to compose and doesn't necessitate that you offer as much evidence, makes it very popular.

Remember the Titans Analysis Free Essays
Everything that we do or think reflects upon one of a variety of cultures that we may belong to. As a variety of cultures come and blend together to become one, this movie is no different from that. With the sociological approach, music, and non-traditional vs. We will write a custom essay sample on Remember the Titans Analysis or any similar topic only for you Order Now traditional cultures depicting the psychological concepts, it is what makes the forefront this adventure portrayed throughout the film. These days there are those people who believe that racism is a thing of the past. In the beginning two football players detested each other, but their love for the game brought them together. Gerry Bertier and Julius Campbell later on got to one another and became the best of friends. One evening while Gerry is getting ready to go play some basketball with Julius in his neighborhood, his mother walks in and finds out what he is planning on doing and she refuses to let Gerry go. As Gerry tries to make his mother understand, all she could say was ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t want to get to know himâ⬠and ââ¬Å"Gerry you are going to church with me instead.â⬠So Gerry ends up going with his mother to church instead of going to play basketball with Julius. Within this scene, the concept of psychology is presented through a sociological approach. Meaning that this approach is a general view of human behavior that focuses on the broad social structures that often influence the society as a whole and subsequently its individuals. This is often how people would respond under pressure around them due the them being controlled by the culture that they are a part of. With this scene stated above Gerry was heavily influenced by his mother. At first he had no problem with going to an African American community to play some basketball with his new friend, Julius, but once his mother heavily disapproved, Gerry changed his thought process. Gerry was put under per pressure into believing that going to play with Julius would be wrong. Back in those days it was against the norm to be friends with a person of a different race. This scene portrays the concept of the sociology approach by showing how Gerryââ¬â¢s decision is influenced by society. Where the film portrays the idea that whites are superior to African Americans. This idea was passed down from previous generations to Gerryââ¬â¢s mother and she was trying to pass it on to her son. Although Gerry was pushing against societyââ¬â¢s norms, they were pushing back and within this instance society won. However that soon would not be the case. When the team gets to camp, the players separate themselves by race. This had created an environment of competition where it shows that it only creates a greater problem of prejudice and discrimination. In order to get the boys to come together, Coach Boone forces the players to get to know each of their new different teammates by forcing them to share space together by rooming and eating together. This however creates tension between the team members. Since Coach Boone also required the players to get to know one another individually, this exercise portrays a good example of contact hypothesis where people are assigned together and get to know one another. One pair, Gerry and Julius, was one of those successful pairs. These boys met the prerequisites necessary for contact hypothesis to take action due to them personally interacting with one another not only as students, but also as teammates which creates them of equal status. The players, as young men, are forced to interact as roommates and during practice thus making sustained interaction that becomes cooperative when they realize that their stereotypical thoughts and discriminatory actions were preventing their team to succeed. The argument between Gerry and Julius about neither of them cooperating then create a common goal that brings them closer together. These two young men are portrayed as the stereotypical white boy, who uses his rich influential parents to obtain his goal and the black boy, who is hostile and unable to be a team player. However Gerry and Julius defeat all odds by becoming friends until Gerryââ¬â¢s death. This lifelong friendship was proof that Coach Booneââ¬â¢s strategy of contact hypothesis worked for them. This film portrays both traditional and non-traditional culture where Coach Boone and his daughter, Nicky, represented a traditional culture, as Coach Yoast and Sheryl represented the nontraditional culture. Sheryl is not your typical girl, she is always at the football field with her father. Often Sheryl is more interested in the teamââ¬â¢s games rather than most of the parents and not playing another sport. When Sheryl visits Coach Booneââ¬â¢s house, she would much rather watch a tape of the football game or the opponentââ¬â¢s tape than play dolls with Nicky. Whereas Nicky is the description of traditional culture due to her always wearing dresses, having her nails done, and steers clear of any kind of athletic sport that involves a ball. The gender roles are evident here and are different within these two cultures presented. The concepts presents is what helps identify cultures that we, as individuals, belong to. Within the variety of cultures that exist, there are always similarities and differences that can be discovered. Throughout the film each concept was accurately portrayed. For example, in the music scene the difference in the taste of music is seen as a comedy piece in the film. Your Critique After watching this film, I did not realize how psychology had played such a dominant role in films until now under a different perspective. Since psychology portrays us as the people we are, it kind of makes sense. As human beings, we are defined by the culture that we live in. Yet this was not the only thing that was displayed within the film. For example, when Sheryl is scolded several times when she demonstrates her passions for football and for the way she dresses. It showed that the director wanted the audience to notice not one but several scenes of where Sheryl and Nicky demonstrate their differences and the way that they are treated in relation to those differences. The Perfect Gesture Essay Example For Students
The Perfect Gesture Essay The Perfect Gesture. The perfect form football tackle, that is the perfect gesture. The person that made this gesture was Gary Kmiec. I witnessed this event for the first time, Labor Day, at the junior varsity football game against North Park College. The day was hot and humid, like a regular Chicago summer. The North Park Vikings field was hardly appealing to the eye. The field was one of those contraptions of a baseball/football field combination. It was the third quarter of a very intense game, the score was 8-6 we were winning. Both teams were relying on their defenses to stop the opposing offense and in our case to score. From what I have heard through the grape vine is that the offense of North Central isnt the greatest, but we have one of the best defenses. The stands, like every other junior varsity game, had only a handful of people in them. Most of the die-hard fans were either family or girlfriends. Unlike the North Park Vikings, who suited up over 60 players in their royal blue, our junior va rsity team had suited up about 29 players total. Out of those 29 select few, only 13 were on the defensive side of the ball. North Park was on offense. The cardinal defense stood strong. It was second down and North Park needed five more yards to get the first down. I was not in the game at this time so I had an exceptional view. The Viking quarterback dropped back 2 steps then he handed the ball off to the half back. Kmiec, like he had always been taught, mirrored the half back shuffling parallel with him. Kmiec accelerated towards the ball carrier. Then it happened. The perfect gesture, the perfect tackle. This was it. Kmiec had reached top speed when he met the ball carrier. When they met, Kmiec placed his right shoulder pad in the gut of the running back, making him lose his breath. Kmiec then wrapped his hands around the back of the ball carrier and pinned him to the ground. His helmet hit the ball directly, causing the pigskin to fly free from the running backs grip. Our free safety, Bob Goins, was right behind Kmiec and recovered the fumble on the North Park 25 yard line. The North Central crowd cheered and the North Central sidelines were in an uproar. The offense truggled against the mediocre North Park defense but they were able to score, making the score 14-6. The final score was 14-13, that gesture saved the game. The perfect tackle rarely appears in football games today because of the perfect positioning and timing of the individual. This individual made perfect tackles in almost every game. Even though The Cardinals did not win a lot of games, these perfect tackles always helped to slow or stop the opponent, when the game was on the line. When I see one of these perfect tackles and a player that can recreate these tackles, I see them as leaders to the team. This gesture stands out from all other ordinary group tackles or ankle tackles because of the fact that it is man to man. The stronger and better trained of the two will win the fight. Kmiec d isplays that he is strong and perfectly trained when he does the perfect tackle and not even the best running backs in the CCIW (College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) can withstand such a blow. This is someone who I look up to because of the fact that he can recreate the perfect tackle on demand. The perfect tackle is my perfect gesture. Divine Command Theory
Divine Command Theory Divine command theory is based on the idea that God is the determinant of right and wrong behavior. Religious groups such as Christians, Muslims and Jews follow laws contained in holy books that guide their worship activities.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Divine Command Theory specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Holy books were written by wise people inspired by God and should be followed. God forbids morally wrong actions and encourages people to engage in morally upright activities. Violation of commandments of God is immorality. People will be held responsible for their actions on the final Day of Judgment. Theists disagree with divine command theory because they do not believe in the existence of God. There are also differences within believers. According to Plato, any act is neither good nor bad unless God has categorized it. This raises an issue of dilemma in some cases such as whether people should be truthful because God has commanded them or because it is good (Rachels Rachels, 2011). According to Rachels and Rachels (2011), the criterion used to define wrong and right is not clear. For instance, in a case of child abuse where a child has been slapped, the action could be right if God wants it that way. In such a case, defining morality would be mysterious. The definition of what is moral makes commandments of God Arbitral because judgment depends on God. For instance, lying is not allowed. However, if God commanded it, it would be accepted. Conception of morality differs with moral principals. This is because the theory does not recognize effects of child abuse as long as punishment is based on Gods commandments. Divine command theorists argue that child abuse could be allowed if God was not in existence. The statement is invalid because if God was not there, then He could not be there to make child abuse wrong. Since child abuse is malicious, it would still be wrong. Religious texts give contradicting information that makes even believers have doubts in Godââ¬â¢s commands. It is wrong for believers to say that the commandments given by God are arbitrary because He knows what best fits them. People should remain truthful because God requires them to do so. Believers should follow Gods wishes if they are to remain religious. Many theologians have rejected the theory because it is impious and untenable. Other thinkers like Saint Thomas Aquinas have explained the relationship between religion and morality in other ways (Rachels Rachels, 2011).Advertising Looking for essay on philosophy? According to Aristotle who lived between 384 and 322 B.C, everything that exists should serve a certain purpose. He gave the example of a knife that is used for cutting, different body parts th at perform different functions in the body and rainfall that enables proper growth of plants. Many things exist in the world with each serving its own purpose making the world a rational and orderly system. Other scholars who followed later have supported Aristotleââ¬â¢s view. For instance, Christian thinkers accepted the view but added that the aspect of God was missing. They argued that human beings use animals because God made them to serve that purpose (Rachels Rachels, 2011). Rachels and Rachels (2011) point out that the Natural theory describes the nature of things. People live in unity when everything is in place and every individual assumes his/her responsibilities in order to maintain social order. For examples, eyes that cannot see are functionless and this can be explained by the natural law. God created people to help each other. Naturally, human beings are social beings who need the company of other people. People who seem not to care about others (psychopaths) go a gainst the natural law. Deviant sexual activities are condemned in the theory of natural law. Theorists argue that sex is meant for procreation. Practices like gay and masturbation are condemned. The Catholic Church bases its moral values on this theory. Apart from Catholics, the theory has few supporters; reasons being that not all natural things are good. Secondly, it brings about confusion because people must not engage in sex except for purposes of procreation. Lastly, natural law differs with science (Rachels Rachels, 2011). The theory of natural law points out that determining right and wrong depends on oneââ¬â¢s reasoning. Right actions should bring about good results. In this case, believers and non-believers follow in the same category of accessing moral truth. People have the ability to listen, think and make sound decisions. Natural theorists argue that morality is not dependent on religion (Rachels Rachels, 2011). Reference Rachels, J. Rachels, S. (2011). The eleme nts of moral philosophy.
